In the unlikely event the house fills to capacity the yard is fully decorated and meant to be equally enjoyed! There is little we can do personally about overflow but we will make the best of it to ensure no one is left out!

The barrels have been color coded and labelled, and one would find plenty of goblets (goblets!) waiting to be filled littered across the bar.

⇒ Malbec, Moraby Bay, 1570/6a | Medium body, fruity, red plum, blackberry, moko grass, royal cocoa. a red wine.

⇒ Lambrusco Rosso, Moraby Bay, 01/7u | Crisp, sweet, blackcurrant, rolanberry, rhubarb, cloves, black pepper. a sparkling wine served in a flute.

COCKTAILS

Premixed by some very deft little hands and left on trays. Convenient!

⇒ Tawny Apple Mulled Wine | Our house Malbec is fortified with our very own Tawny Port and a splash of Calvados, then infused with a La Noscean Orange, unfiltered apple cider from the Canto's orchard, and whole spices including star anise, cinnamon, and Hannish green cardamom. Served warm in a mug with a wheel of orange and a dash of cinnamon on top - guaranteed to warm the soul.

⇒ Hot Toddy | A perfect fusion of locally sourced honey, fresh lemon, and your choice of premium spirit— be it either the Stills' Bourbon or the Calvados Brandy. Crowned with aromatics like cinnamon and cloves and served steaming hot.

⇒ Gin & Tonic | Gin, ice, and tonic — you can't go wrong with a classic! Elevated with a squeeze of fresh lime and garnished with both fresh cranberries and pine sprigs and served in a tall glass.

BEVERAGES

Alcohol free but still guaranteed to warm the soul and bolster the spirit.

⇒ Hot Cocoa | Sweet with just a hint of spice. Perfect to be enjoyed with all these holiday pastries.

⇒ Pear Cider | Hand pressed and small batch made from the Canto's rotational orchard, complete with floating pear slices and cinammon sticks! Please don't eat the latter.

⇒ Tea, Coffee & Water | On hand and readily available. One need only ask.

SNACKS

We hope you like sweets And are up to snuff on your teeth brushing.

⇒ Crostini | Crispy baguette slices crowned with a blend of whipped goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil. Or, if savory isn't your schtick—a medley of mascarpone, honey, and fresh berries.

⇒ Starlight Cake | Conceived by Bismarck chefs with far too much time on their hands, the Starlight cake is composed of layer after layer after layer...after layer of sweet, decadent heaven. Or, that's what it said on the tin.

⇒ Berry Fruit Galette | A holiday twist of a Lounge staple, crumbly pastry shell is filled with fresh cranberries and blackberries, topped with a port wine sabayon.

⇒ Gougeres | A favorite of Egrine’s; chou pastry is mixed with cheese and then baked up into puffs. A simple treat shared amongst friends.

⇒ Cookies & Doughnuts | Not to be mixed up with the tree ornaments. These are actually edible. Allegedly.

THE ICE RINK

Step into a winter wonderland of elegance and enchantment, where the magic of the season comes alive on an enchanting ice rink set up upstairs. How? Doesn't matter. Why? Don't worry about it—we invite our guests to glide across the glistening ice, against the backdrop of sparkling lights and music that dances through the air!You may have donned your formal best, but fear not if you find yourself without the proper footwear—skates will be provided for a seamless transition from the ballroom to the ice!¹. A perfect opportunity to let loose and revel in the joy of the season! So, slip into those skates and twirl under the stars, surely a memory to last long after the night is over!¹Shoelaces may or may not be included. Everyone loves a keepsake.

At the heart of the ball lies a dance floor beckoning to those ready to be swept away by the rhythm of the night! Grab a few friends or embark on a solo creative venture as you assemble and decorate, infusing them with your own unique style!Once your masterpieces are complete, find the perfect spot for your creation: The Canto's Starlight trees are strategically placed on the main floor, the grand staircase, behind St. Nemeia, and upstairs in the bar room, eagerly awaiting the addition of your personalized holiday cheer.For those who prefer the joy of instant gratification, seek out the talented Martin Freepaw, who is happy to share their premade trinkets—you need only ask them nicely!

Located amidst a veil of holiday splendor on the main floor, St. Nemeia stands ready to receive the heartfelt wishes of guests, offering a moment of quiet reflection amidst the lively festivities.Guests are encouraged to pen down their Starlight wishes in this Ishgardian Tradition, capturing their aspirations for a joyous and harmonious celebration. Whether you choose to share your wish or keep it nestled in the quiet chambers of your heart, the act of communing with St. Nemeia becomes a personal and magical connection to the essence of the season!
